The old pub

The old pub

The old pub at Glenloth, about 10 kilometres north of Charlton. Glenloth is a crossroad where there was once a town. It is on flat, low-lying land close to the Avoca River. In big flood years - about once a decade - the whole area becomes a shallow lake and Lalbert Creek starts flowing.

I have always liked this old wooden pub with its stained glass windows and pretty green trim. Last time I saw it it was flooded all about and I don’t suppose it is there anymore.
