The order Coraciiformes contains three families of interest here, the kingfishers, the rollers, and the bee-eaters. There are at least three other families in the order (possibly as many as ten depending on how the hornbills and hoopoes are classified). Australia has just a single roller and a single bee-eater but 10 kingfishers; Sri Lanka 2 rollers, 4 bee-eaters, and 7 kingfishers.
