One solitary white Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo feeding happily in a Radiata Pine plantation alongside 299 of the usual black variety. The yellow colouring around the ears and in the tail is much as you see above; the overall yellow wash, thanks to a trick of the light on that heavily overcast day, is a little less vivid in the flesh than the picture incidates.
