Fearless

Fearless

We got to know this young Eastern Spinebill well over the very hot suimmer of 2008-2009. It seemed to take him a long time to grow his adult tail feathers, but the lack never seemed to trouble him. He would zip past your face with a prrrp or search for nectar in a flower not a metre away. We called him "Tailless" for a while, but then decided that "Fearless" suited him better.
